Abstract: An accurate and reliable control method of irregularity in yarn fineness is presented. It's based on the theory of the influence of cotton fiber length distribution on the evenness of yarn, and it improves the predictive model of irregularity in yarn fineness. Under the producing condition of controlling, we set a value or value range of predetermined term of or/and predictive model. And according to the given material and yarn parameter and predicted yarn fineness, it can be calculated that the parameter range of material fiber which is to be controlled. Finally, the yarn is span according to the practical production requirement, come up to the desired yarn irregularity, and the control of irregularity in yarn fineness is completed. The built predictive model is consistent with practical production. The control method on the basis of the model is precise and convenient. It's also avoiding such problems as either works and material wasting or poor quality of yarn which happened in controlling the irregularity of yarns by experience. The control of irregularity in yarn fineness becomes convenience and practical by using this method which is with much higher manipulability.

Abstract: The outlast rayon fabric reduce perspiration, prevent overheated, maintain cool, increase comfort, and can reduce the surface temperature when the weather is oppressive. The Outlast plain elastic and the jersey knitting fabric is designed and developed. Cautions that in weaves, pre-treating and dyeing process are pointed out. So it provides a theoretical basis for researcher to develop comfort textiles having smart temperature regulation function.

Abstract: The response of textile materials to transverse compression is of great importance in many applications. In this paper is discussed the mechanical properties of textile materials when subjected to transverse compression. The response of a textile to load is very non-linear and inelastic. The response is viscoelastic (there are rate effects) and plastic (there are permanent deformations). It is shown that energy is stored in a textile when it is loaded, and that some of this energy is not released when the material is unloaded, but instead is locked into its structure. This locked energy cannot be released unless the structure is placed in tension. A thermomechanical framework is introduced which incorporates the textile locked energy. Models are developed which predict well the response of textiles to load.

Abstract: In order to improve the design capacity of knitted fabric pattern and explore new design thought, this article studies the fractal image generation of Julia set and applies it into the pattern design of seamless underwear products. It adopts VB programming to generate Julia set pattern based on escape time algorithm, and then uses part imaging and amplification or changes the function orders to get a lot of colorful patterns. When these generated patterns are imported under the help of Photon software, color part in the patterns will be replaced with pre-designed fabric patterns and finally comes with patterns identifiable to seamless underwear knitting machine. Such method greatly expands the design thoughts of seamless underwear products.

Abstract: In this paper, the influence of pre-tension on elongation percentage at specified load for knits was studied .First of all, initial elongation and elongation percentage at specified load for different retractility knits were tested and analyzed at different pre-tension. And then significance of influence of pre-tension on initial elongation and elongation percentage at specified load for knits were analyzed by means of variance analysis. Results show that the pre-tension has significant influence on initial elongation for different retractility knits, and it has no significant influence on elongation percentage at specified load for little retractility knits, and it has significant influence on elongation percentage at specified load for well retractility knits. The greater the pre-tension is, the more significant the influence is, Therefore it is suggested that pre-tension is generally less than 0.1N in the test. The research results can provide a certain reference to stretch and recovery test for knits and test standard recension .

Abstract: Electrospraying is a method of generating fine mist through electrostatic charging. It is a versatile method based on electrohydrodynamic process for forming small droplets. These droplets are highly charged. This prevents droplet coagulation and promotes self-dispersion which results in uniform coating on the target substrate. Electrospraying is inexpensive and an effective way to produce micro-scale coating. In this paper, an attempt was made to apply the electrospraying concept for coating textile surfaces. It was of interest to develop an understanding of the spraying characteristics of a polymer solution subjected to electrospraying and to determine the effect of the process parameters such as voltage, nozzle-collector distance and polymer concentration. Series of experiments were carried out employing different settings of process parameters. Thermoplastic polyurethane dissolved in tetrahydrofluran was used as a solution. The results provide some insight into selection of electrospraying parameters, and surface morphology of polymer deposition on fabric.

Abstract: Femtosecond laser two-photon three-dimensional optical data storage is an effective method for high capacity data storage. In this paper, system construction is analyzed in detail from hardware and software aspects for dual pick-up head three-dimensional optical storage systems. Three-dimensional optical storage system is conposed of the fluorescence reader module and the servo control module, firstly analyzes the read and write process of three-dimensional optical storage by 89c52 MCU controling from the hardware. Then, the software is analyzed in detail, the software consists of two parts: the lower computer software and PC software. lower computer software achieves communication and control related to hardware, PC software is used to facilitate the control of the experimental system. Two CPU control software is introduced, and controlling process of PC software control is analyzed in detail. These work has laid a solid foundation for the practical of three-dimensional optical storage technology.

Abstract: In the present paper, the influences of fiber hygroscopicity on elastic knitted cotton and cotton blended Modal (50/50) fabric in heat and moisture transfer properties and comfort were studied. The rate of moisture regain, moisture transportation and liquid wicking performance were tested. Besides, wear trials were carried to collect subjective evaluation of thermo-moisture comfort sensation of the wearer. It is found that elastic knitted fabric of cotton-Modal/Spandex has better water vapour absorption and permeability as well as better liquid water transfer and spreading capacity. During wear trial, cotton-Modal/spandex fabric B caused significantly lower wet and sticking perception than cotton/spandex fabric A.
