Abstract: In this paper, calcium phosphate cement (CPC) was prepared with tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP)/dicalcium phosphate anhydrous (DCPA) system as solid phase and phosphate buffered solution (PBS) as liquid phase, then silk fibroin (SF) was added into CPC to form silk fibroin/calcium phosphate composite. To study the effect of SF on the properties of composite, different mass fraction of SF was added into the composite. The surface morphology was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope. The setting time was investigated by ISO Cement Standard Consistency Instrument. The structure of the composite was studied by X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy. Mechanical properties of samples were tested by Instron Universal Testing Machine. The results showed that the particles of SF could be seen obviously in the surface of all composite, and acicular crystal of hydroxyapatite (HA) was formed in the hardening body of both the composite and the pure CPC. The acicular crystal of HA derived from composite with SF appeared to be thinner. The setting times of the composites were all between 9 to 15min. Compared to pure CPC, the compressive strength and work-of-compressive of composites were all improved. The compressive strength of the composite with 1% SF increased obviously.

Abstract: The effect of molding temperature, pressure, packing time and cooling methods on the properties of ramie roving reinforced polypropylene composites was mainly investigated in this paper. We used moulding process to prepare the ramie fiber/PP (Polypropylene) composites with the ramie roving as the reinforcement which were loosed into a single fiber state in the case of without affecting the fiber’s longitudinal straightness, and then investigated the influence of processing conditions to the mechanical properties of composites. With the DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), the effect of cooling conditions on the crystallization of composites was also discussed. The result shows that taking ramie roving as the reinforcement will improve the infiltration properties of the PP matrix to ramie fibers, the reason is that ramie fibers have good orientation and it is loosely arranged in the ramie roving , all of these are benefit to form a good interfacial bonding between fibre and PP resin. Different processing conditions have great impact on the mechanical properties of composites. And the samples gained the best merchanical properties when the process conditions such as molding temperature, pressure, packing time are selected as 165°C, 8MPa, 10min. When the composites cooled together with the heating plate, its melting enthalpy is the highest and the crystallization properties is better than other cooling methods such as home temperature cooling and quickly water-cooling, and its tensile properties is the best.

Abstract: This research studied the preparation of the blended film from Bombyx mori silk fibroin with the regenerated cellulose obtained from rayon fiber residue, the industrial waste fiber. The β-sheet structure of silk fibroin was observed while the regenerated cellulose possessed cellulose II crystalline form. The infrared spectra of the blends showed changes in shape and intensity of IR absorption frequency characteristics in the region of 3500-3300 cm-1 as compared with those of the starting materials, pure silk fibroin and cellulose. This indicates the occurrence of the intermolecular interactions between the –OH groups of cellulose and silk fibroin by forming hydrogen bond. The tensile properties of the blends with cellulose content lower than 50 % could not be measured due to the weakness of the prepared film. The stronger and more flexible film was obtained with increasing the regenerated cellulose content. The study on the effect of NaCl and CaCl2 salt addition aiming to establish a porous structure to the blends was also investigated.

Abstract: As a natural polymer, alginic acid is widely used in medical fields for its biodegradability, low toxicity and immunogenicity. In this paper, four kinds of cavernous calcium alginate wound dressings were prepared, and physical properties were tested, providing fundamental basis for further study. The results indicate that glycerin is not suitable as a plasticizer for this cavernous wound dressing; a relatively uniform structure of the calcium alginate wound dressing would be obtained as the solution temperature increased; the mechanical properties decrease with the increase of the pre-freezing time.

Abstract: In view of the unique porous structure of hemp stem, the comparison experiments were implemented on adsorption properties of hemp stem powder and Abies holophylla Maxim powder to formaldehyde, benzene and TVOC. In addition, on the basis of preliminary study on solid-gas adsorption kinetics of hemp stem, applicability of several adsorption theories was analyzed versus solid-gas adsorption. The results showed that the unique structure endowed hemp stem better adsorption properties than Abies holophylla Maxim’s. However, for different adsorbents, the adsorption kinetics characters differed obviously. Bangham and Langmuir adsorption rate equation fitted the gas-solid adsorption kinetics of hemp stem to some extent, and Langmuir’s could present its absorption to TVOC much better.

Abstract: Abstract In today’s competitive situation, all textile industries ,specially carpet industry, are well aware of the significance of customer and its vital role in the development of marketing. Development in production and also reaching a high quality is only viable through listening to the customer’s voice .customer’s approval of various products with high quality is considered as an important concept in the carpet industry. The studies indicate that the customer’s approval of the quality and variety of the products is among one of the most important goals of quality management and highly affects the market and the return of profit and investment. This study is an attempt to identify some of the customer’s needs using KANO model and Conjoint analysis. It further introduces some workable marketing strategies for the new products of machinery carpet to enter the market

Abstract: Single crystal structures of M2Ni (SO4)2.XH2O (M=Na, X=4; M=K, NH4, Rb, Cs, X=6) were investigated using the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. They crystallize isotypic (space group P2 (1)/c). Many structure features exhibit regularity with the relative size of radius, such as a, b, c, V. But to ANSH, the regularity of average bond lengths of violets from others. Their optical transmission spectrums were recorded on PE-lambda 900 with performing wavelengths ranging from 200 to 1100 nm, they have the similar optical characters in tested wavelength range. This phenomenon arises from the electron transition of d orbits in the octahedral field. The similarity in optical spectrum is consistent with the comparability of structures. We also investigated the thermal-gravimetric quality of above single crystals under same experiment conditions. We found that the dehydration temperatures increase with increasing of radius of the M+ when M =K, Rb, Cs. When M=Na, the dehydration temperature (tdh) is above the others pronouncedly due to the specialty of structure. To NH4-, the so-called compound is also with exception of the regularity.

Abstract: The low-velocity impact response of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) laminated composites were studied by drop-weight experiments. Laminated composites were fabricated with unidirectional UHMWPE prepreg using hot-pressing process. Laminated composites of size 150mm×100mm were subjected to low-velocity impact loading at three energy levels of 15J, 25J and 35J. It is found that the slops of load-time and energy-time curves increase with increase in the impact energy. However, load-time curve shows that there are some fluctuations before the peak load was reached. Peak load and absorbed energy increase with increasing impact energy. However, time to peak load decreases linearly with increasing impact energy.

Abstract: It is study that graft modification of waste newspaper pulp fiber. Grafting rate of waste newsprint pulp increases with increasing initiator dosage, DADMAC dosage, reaction temperature and pulp consistency. When those conditions reach a certain value, grafting rate will lower, but the reducing speed is different. The optimal conditions of waste newsprint pulp modification is the initiator dosage is 8%, mole rate of cationic monomer in total monomers is 60%, reaction temperature is 50°C and reaction time is 2h. Grafting rate of waste newsprint pulp is 15.89% under these conditions.

Abstract: After economic crisis, facing various difficulties such as the weakness of overseas market’s needs and the increasing cost pressure, the transformation and upgrading has become the general trends of Chinese textile and apparel foreign trade enterprises. So, products added value, quick reaction capability of the market and risk resistance capacity should be improved by such enterprises through changing development model, transforming target market, optimizing supply chain and cost control, etc.
