Abstract: the maching algorithm in the vision-aided navigation system must be real-time, high-precision and suitable for matching different images with some scaling and rotation. This paper proposed three algorithms based on SURF, SIFT and ASIFT features. The SURF algorithm is the better method than the SIFT and ASIFT in theory, because the use of integral image and basic Hessian-matrix approximation has greatly reduce the computational complexity. The experimental results show that the three algorithms can obtain similar detecting and matching performance, but the SIFT and ASIFT need too much time to realize real time. So, the SURF is more suitable for scene matching in the vision-aided navigation system.

Abstract: Based on the fundamental principles of the wavelet analysis combining with BP neural network, the paper can obtain the minimum embedding dimension and delay time. According to the chaos theory, the phase space of the magnitude time series can be reconstructed by Takens theorem. The paper uses wavelet neural network to train and test the nonlinear magnitude time series in the reconstructed phase space. The simulation results show that the predictive effect of the magnitude time series is remarkable and the predictive performance of single-step prediction is superior to that of multi-step prediction.

Abstract: The marine corrosion of metal materials is a complex chemical process which is affected by multiple factors that are nonlinear interconnected. This paper aims at integrating PLS and Grey theory in the model building of corrosion time, rate, maximum corrosion depth and average corrosion depth based on small sample data measured in a certain marine environment. The result shows that the time of data, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen,ph value and humidity are strongly correlated with the maximum corrosion depth in the full immersion zone. The fitting effects of PLS modeling based on grey relational analysis are better than the PLS model and the GM (1, 1) model in both precision and stability.

Abstract: The output power of single-phase PV inverter is AC and the input power is DC,so there exists fluctuations in the power transmission. Generally, the fluctuations can be removed by using coupling capacitors. However, the voltage fluctuations of coupling capacitors will result in corresponding input power fluctuations, and will affect the maximum power tracking of the system. In this paper, the power transfer process is analysised, and a theoretical derivation to voltage fluctuations of the generatrix capacitor and the impact on the input currents is designed. The corresponding correction control algorithm of subdivision control is developed according to its characteristics. The feasibility of the solution is verified by the 3KW experimental prototype.

Abstract: Underwater speech communication for middle-long distance has the characteristics of narrow bandwidth as well as low transmission rate, which makes the underwater speech communication much difficult. Nevertheless, speech communication based on storage and transmission makes it feasible. The paper introduced the principle of speech communication based on storage and transmission firstly and then analyzed the terminal buffer size as well as the communication delay when such technique was applied. The feasibility along with localization is pointed out in conclusion.

Abstract: In the cutting procedure, the cutting depth influences cutting forces, chip breaking, chip shaping, and the distribution status of residual stress. The two-dimension heat-mechanic coupling orthogonal cutting model is established with the FEM analysis software by use of the Lagrange quality point coordinate system description method in this paper. This paper simulates a typical work-piece chip breaking process with different cutting depth, which gets the cutting forces curves and the total status of residual stress distribution and the status.

Abstract: Intellectual Property (IP) reuse improves System-on-a-Chip (SOC) design productivity, and helps to meet design quality and time-to-marks goals. In this paper, we present an approach to that we successfully adopted in reusing the CAN bus controller IP core. To describe our approach, a MCU design SHU-MV10 is performed. The CAN bus controller IP core is inherited from the stand-alone controller SHU-MVCAN with few modifications, and is used in the design of MCU SHU-MV10 successfully by adding bridge module. This reusable design method is not only cuts down the design time but also ensure the accuracy.

Abstract: This paper aims to present a new way of providing calibration services, which uses the Internet to expand present calibration technology and makes the calibration process easy to operate. A new technology that is known as “tele-calibration” is presented. Further, this paper also discusses the general construction of the tele-calibration systems.

Abstract: This paper presented a waist mechanism driven by dielectric elastomer actuators (DEA), suitable for a small light robot. Unlike traditionally continuous range-of-motion actuators, DEA have only two discrete states, both of which are stable. As a result, waist mechanism has a finite number of states, but works like human waist and just need 36 switching values to control. Major benefits of the waist mechanism are that extensive feedback control is not required, task repeatability can be very high, and DEA are very inexpensive, thus resulting in low cost robots. The waist mechanism is attractive but needs further investigation before successful application.

Abstract: This paper describes a robust adaptive controller based on specified region pole assignment for flexible hypersonic vehicle. The dynamic model of air-breathing hypersonic vehicle retains features including flexible effects, non-minimum phase behavior, model uncertainties, and strong couplings between flight dynamic and engine. To track velocity and altitude commands, robust controller based on specified region pole assignment is used to make unstable modes of open-loop system stable and guarantee dynamic performance of attitude. Meanwhile adaptive controller is proposed to solve tracking problems when existing control failures or saturation. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed controller achieves excellent dynamic performance while the engine operates normally.
