Abstract: Education is now engaged in a transitional period with respect to new technologies which is unique in its history. No previous technologies which have been proposed to “revolutionize” education have simultaneously had identical or equivalent revolutionary consequences for this world. Given the technological resources, dealing with the challenges to their effective utilization in education will focus on human-professional. To assist web-based multimedia for distance education, it is important to understand the characteristic and its educational concerns. This study was to identify characteristics of web-based multi-media for distance learning settings.

Abstract: This study is a concentrated at the strategy of repeats in DNA sequence assembly. To deal with the sequences with repeats is a difficult problem in DNA sequence assembly. On basis of strategy learning about masking repeats,this study proposes a method based on mate-pair analysis, and a developing strategy on Amos platform.

Abstract: Firstly, application of SLP and SHA method in design course of general layout is introduced including basic element analysis, procedure analysis, interrelation analysis. The method is offered which design the layout rearrangement of plant logistics based on the combination of SLP and SHA. Then aiming at achieving the lowest transportation amount, the installation and logistics systems are rearranged and reassessed in a department of the plant. Through contrasting, the result is found that workshop attains the logistics smooth, transport the route the most short, shorten produce period and lower the production cost.

Abstract: This paper studied at the problem of visual simulation of astronaut fling outside in the cabin. Firstly, according to morphological characteristics of the human’s body, we used SolidWorks to construct the simplified geometric model of astronaut. Then we made the model of astronaut carried out the 3-dimensional real-time flight animation based on OpenGL by view transformation and model transformation in VC++ environment.

Abstract: In this paper, on the basis of the recently developed HZ (Hager-Zhang) method [SIAM J. Optim., 16 (2005), pp. 170-192], we propose a hybrid descent conjugate gradient method which reserves the sufficient descent property of the HZ method. Under suitable conditions, we prove the global convergence of the proposed method. Extensive numerical experiments show that the method is promising for the test problems from the CUTE library.

Abstract: In Multi-converter power electronic systems, load converters exhibit constant power load (CPL) behavior for the feeder converters and tend to destabilize the system. In this paper, Buck DC-DC converters are taken as an example, and the implementation of active-damping techniques has been shown to analyze the stability of multi-converter power electronic systems. Moreover, active damping is generally implemented by a feedback loop, which produces the effect of a virtual resistor and damps the oscillations, the proposed active-damping method can overcome the negative impedance instability problem caused by the CPLs. The effectiveness of the proposed approach has been verified by Matlab/Simulink simulations.

Abstract: The space information networks are easy to be disturbed and destroyed, which is due to their hostile operational environments and results in a decrease in network quality of service. Given their characteristics, a distributed topology failure diagnosis scheme composed of failure detection node election and failure diagnosis is proposed. First, a proper number of nodes are elected to detect faults in a coordinated and distributed way by using minimum dominating set algorithm. Then elected diagnosis nodes detect faults around based on the theory of dependency-graph. The technology of minimum Huffman tree is used to preliminarily locate failures and on that base the further location is fulfilled through sending detection messages on purpose. Simulation results from NS2 demonstrate that high accurate diagnosis rate can be reached at the expense of low cost by this failure diagnosis algorithm.

This paper presents a formal definition of Web services composition, and then analyzes task dependency rules of dataflow and behavior in Web services composition net system, finally, we introduce execution semantic of Web services composition net.

Abstract: The principles and methods of geostatistcs are introduced. Based on sampling data from the city river, the NH4+-N content is used as the parameter of water quality to analyze the water pollution. With the variogram of geostatistcs, the spatial variation of the NH4+-N content is shown intuitively. By using the Kringing, the special distribution of the NH4+-N is simulated. With MATLAB language, the Contour and three-dimensional map of the spatial distribution of the NH4+-N is obtained. The research of geostatistics on water quality provides a theoretical basis for protecting the water environment and controlling the water pollution.

Abstract: Artificial neural network was one of the most important methods in intelligent fault diagnosis because it has the performance of nonlinear pattern classification and the capacity of self-learning and self-organization, but it can not judge redundancy and usefulness of information. Rough set can reduce the knowledge of information system and dislodge redundant information. In this paper, fault data of rolling bearing was reduced by the greedy algorithm of rough set. Training data and test data of BP neural network had been reduced by rough set. By comparison of two test result about simply data and original data, it was indicated that resolving power was unchanged and database was simply.
