Abstract: A mobile remote data monitoring center based on Android operating system is developed for the water environment monitoring system via wireless sensor network (WSN). The monitoring center collects the sensors data from the WSN based on C/S mode. The SQLite is adopted in database module to achieve high memory speed and efficient operation management. Dynamic graphical displays are accomplished to show the topology of the WSN, the state of the nodes and the real-time and historical water environment parameters of the sensor nodes. The experiments show that the software of water environment remote monitoring system, based on mobile devices of Android operating system, can conveniently satisfy the requirements of data collecting and monitoring for water environment monitoring system based on WSN.

Abstract: The E-educational Management system based on Web technology is widely used in daily educational administration in universities at present, which greatly improves the quality and efficiency of educational administration. Along with the improvement of the performance of mobile network and the popularity of mobile intelligent platforms, it has become a popular trend that porting the applications from Personal Computer (PC) to mobile intelligent platform. In this paper, we propose an improved design of E-educational Administration compatible for mobile intelligent platform. The users in this system could accomplish the same operation on PC by using mobile network (CDMA / GSM / EDGE / TD-SCDMA / WCDMA, etc.) or Wi-Fi. The design of the system is largely improved while taking the restrictions on the display, manipulation, processing performance, power and network conditions of mobile intelligent platforms into account.

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of hysteretic and complex process in detection of mineral mixture, a new digital image acquisition system was designed in this paper that can meet the requirements of real-time detection onsite. It implements the all-weather imaging stably using infrared laser with a linear array digital camera. Through the installation of filters and the selection of the special background material to ensure image quality and reduce the difficulty on image processing. It has been confirmed that the capability of meet the needs of real-time detection to Mineral Mixture Gradation in experiments.

Abstract: Online identification of motor rotor speed by using modified rotor flux orientation angle estimator and model reference adaptive system achieves sensorless vector control of induction motor. The principle verification conducted on self-developed sensorless vector control of induction motor shows that the system has good dynamic & static performance and induction motor achieves significant improvement in speed regulation in the premise of not adding cost of general inverters.

Abstract: On the basis of study on the key multi-axis motion control theories about acceleration & deceleration control, numerical interpolation algorithm, device drivers and application design technologies based on LabVIEW, verified the feasibility through the 3-axis numerical milling platform developed by ourselves. The platform can also realize the simulation and practical verification about the demonstration teaching process of numerical control machining and 3-dimensional contour of the workpiece machined, and has the significant practical value.

Abstract: A triangulated irregularly network (TIN) is always used to describe the land surface in a geographic information system (GIS), while the land surface abstracted and simplified has modeling errors inevitably, which play an important role in uncertainty estimation, while are ignored in the GIS literature. In this paper, we consider modeling errors and use error promulgation law to estimate positional uncertainty of a triangular tessellation. It indicates the difference between complex entities in the real world and geographic objects simplified in a digital world, and it makes uncertainty complete and credible.

Abstract: In this paper, we focus on the interaction between inventory investment and market demand, and consequent effect on discount profit when stochastic disturbance is introduced into the system. To this end, we set up optimal decision-making models on inventory cross-time management , in which inventory is considered as firms investment and Market demand follows SDE , as well as inventory investment. Helpful results and three propositions are obtained.

Abstract: Obstacle detection based on stereovision is sensitive to illumination. Considering phase congruency is insensitivity to illumination, the paper presents a novel algorithm for color image stereovision obstacle detection based on phase congruency. The images are segmented with phase congruency and color in the algorithm, firstly. The obstacles are detected after stereo correspondence of segmentation images. The result of experiment indicates that the algorithm is good at image segmentation and obstacle detection under varying illumination.

Abstract: Automobile traffic has become the financial, entertainment, office and communications function as one of the mobile sites. In automotive design and manufacturing and modification, eliminating the noise of car audio systems to improve driving safety and the occupants enjoy audio and video quality is very important. This paper analyzes the car audio system composition, explains automobile noise is divided into mechanical noise and circuit system inner noise, circuit system noise inside mainly includes thermal noise, induction noise and transmission noise, and puts forward the relevant measures to reduce noise.

Abstract: Nowadays, the rate-distortion performance of distributed video coding (DVC) is not satisfied despite its distinct contribution to low-complexity encoding. This paper presents a new residual DVC using an optimized trellis coded quantization (TCQ) to improve the performance of the current schemes. H.264/AVC intra-frame coding is firstly used to obtain the referenced frame, and then the residual between Wyner-Ziv frame and the referenced frame is Wyner-Ziv encoded with a proposed optimized TCQ which consists of the improved quadtree and the improved TCQ, both considering the characters of wavelet coefficients in different sub-bands. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the referenced in rate-distortion performance, and the goal of low-complexity encoding is achieved.
