Abstract: Grid is one of the most important information technologies in recently years, and the theory of grid management has been applied in a variety of industries. Based on the advantages of grid management, it is applied to traffic risk management in coastal and harbor waters, and keys to implementation of grid management are discussed in detail. Finally, case study of Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) Fujian is illustrated, showing the grid-based management mode, mechanism, procedures, contents and measures. Thus, accident frequency in the area is reduced from 0.0741% of 2006 to 0.0485% of 2008.

Abstract: IMO Standards for ship maneuverability require prediction of ship’s maneuvering performance at the design stage. For this purpose, various methods such as those based on free running model tests, captive model tests or numerical simulation using mathematical models can be used. While this paper describes a numerical method for estimating ship’s dynamic stability by computing the linear sway and yaw added mass coefficients using a higher-order panel method based on Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline. Three dimensional forward-speed radiation problems are formulated and solved in frequency domain. The linear hydrodynamic coefficients are calculated and preliminary results are presented for a modified Wigley hull.

Abstract: In this paper, a new transmission scheme basing on original lever method was expanded. The transmission and transmission scheme of ZF6 AT were detailedly analyzed by using the explanded Lever method. The studying results proved the correctness of the explanded Lever method, and a transmission scheme of 8-speed AT was designed and researched through it.

Abstract: Cable cars are usually used to transport passengers in difference elevation between one point to another point. Usually, cable cars are suspended on the cable and moves by the mobile cable. In this paper, a new type of ground wheel-rail cable car was designed and the performance of this mechanism was analyzed. The transport system of a passenger ground wheel-rail cable car sets wheel-rail devices and cable car wheels ride on the rail on the ground, which is driven by the mobile cable. This is a new type of passenger organizational form, and there are many advantages of this transportation system, such as safe, reliable, energy-saving , environmental protection and economical benefits.

Abstract: Low altitude microburst wind shear would do harm to aircrafts’ takeoff and landing. In order to analyze flight safety and advise better escape strategies, a mathematical model was built with high fidelity by a vortex ring based microburst model and a flight dynamics model with wind effects. A human pilot model which can describe characteristics of pilots such as skills, experiences, emotion, etc was embedded into the dynamics model. Since the key parameters of the microburst wind shear model and pilot model were set to be stochastic, the Monte Carlo method was adopted to obtain a numerical approximation of the probability density function of the minimum altitude and the F-factors for flight safety analysis.

Abstract: In this paper, the advanced ignition angle ,which gained from experiment on engine combusting gasohol , is taken as a base value. Based on it , a change interval can be determined, and the interval range will be divided into several values. Put each of them into the GT-power model to conduct simulation calculation, get the optimal advanced ignition angle at different working condition. At last, the way to optimize the advanced ignition angle is found.

Abstract: Safety is the eternal theme in shipping industry. Research shows that human error is the main reason of maritime accidents. Therefore, it is very necessary to research marine human errors, to discuss the contexts which caused human errors and how the contexts effect human behavior. Based on the detailed investigation of human errors in collision avoidance behavior which is the most key mission in navigation and the Performance Shaping Factors (PSFs), human reliability of mariners in collision avoidance was analyzed by using the integration of APJE and SLIM. Result shows that this combined method is effective and can be used for the research of maritime human reliability.

Abstract: In order to overcome the defect of traditional engine condition monitoring only depending on single parameter, this paper establishes the five-level condition monitoring alert system with fuzzy neural network (FNN) which is good at settling uncertain and complicated problems. Firstly, optimal monitoring parameters are selected from three aspects of ferrography, vibration and performance parameters. With sufficient historical data, limit values of parameters and reliable five-level condition monitoring standards are maintained and established by statistical analysis. Then fuzzy membership functions are applied to transform practical data into fuzzy data. Finally the structure of neural network is designed and trained by sample data. The model is tested with original data and proved to be more effective and reliable to engine condition monitoring.

Abstract: Tensional ability of basalt fiber enforced asphalt mixture studied by split tensile test then compare with the normal asphalt mixture. The tensional ability is increasing while increase the basalt fiber percents. The tensional strength increase 3.5%, 7.8%, 3.5% and the failure stiffness modulus increase 15.1%, 40.4%, 11.8% while the added basalt fiber is 0.15%, 0.2%, 0.25%, respectively. The result shows that basalt fiber can enhance the tensional ability of asphalt mixture significantly, and the optimum percents of basalt fiber is 0.2%.

Abstract: With the rapid development of urbanization in china, the contradiction between transport, environment and population growth is becoming more and more pronounced, which offers higher demands for transport planning. This article mainly describes the application of decision tree learning algorithm in traffic modal choice. First preprocess the sample data, then calculate and analyze the information gain ratio, and finally we will build a decision tree model. The results show that the rules obtained by decision tree method have some practical value in the analysis of traffic modal choice.
