Abstract: Using KD-CB177 quenching media cooling tester, the cooling curves of 32 oil and 8%BW quenching media was tested and the effect of preheating temperature on the cooling curves of the quenching medias and the hardness of 45 steel was investigated. Results showed that the characteristic temperature, the temperature on the maximum cooling rate and the maximum cooling rate of the 8%BW quenching media decreased with the increasing of the preheating temperature Using 8% BW under the preheating temperature of 50°Cand 32 oil under the preheating temperature of 40°C to [quench the 45 steel, the properties of 45 steel are considerable. So the 8% BW quenching media maybe can be used to substitute the 32 oil under the certain condition.

Abstract: TiO2 films were fabricated on Si substrate by using electron-beam gun evaporation. Influence of deposition rate, deposition temperature and ion beam bombarding on stress in TiO2 films was studied by AFM and XRD. The results show that deposition temperature of 423K and deposition rate of 0.2nm/s, the average stress in titanium oxide thin films is less than 48.2MPa. The average stress decreases to compressive stress of 16.7MPa from tensile stress of 72.9MPa by the ion beam energy of 113eV and bombarding time of 300s. The microstructure change of TiO2 films is main factors of stress development.

Abstract: The effect of acetylation modifying pretreatment of the flax fiber properties was researched.By the acetylation, the property and spinning ability of flax technical fiber have been largely improved.It can be used in cotton system processing to develop superior quality and diversified flax products.In this paper, it uses the orthogonal experiment to modify the flax fiber with acetylating. Through testing the physical mechanical properties of the flax fiber,the influences of the modified condition, such as the caustic soda density,infusion time,acetate density and acetylating time are optimized[1]. So that the fiber can be modified to improve spinning performance to meet high-production high-end linen and meet the requirements of thin fabric.

Abstract: In this paper, the mechanism of polymer inhibiting secondary reaction in clinker leaching process was studied by IR spectrum of leaching residue obtained from the reaction of dicalcium silicate with sodium aluminate solution and the adsorption law of polymer AY and PEG on the surface of dicalcium silicate. The results indicated that the main adsorption mode of polymer AY and PEG were chemisorptions and physical adsorption respectively. The mechanism of decreasing the occurrence of secondary reaction is encapsulating surface of dicalcium silicate by AY and PEG. The adsorption mode of polymer AY on dicalcium silicate particles was single molecule adsorption and its adsorption isotherm was the typical “L” type. It accorded with Langmuin equation, and the adsorption free energy EAY was 57.89kJ.mol-1. The adsorption mode of polymer PEG on dicalcium silicate particles was multimolecular adsorption and its adsorption isotherm was the typical “S” type. It accorded with Freundlich equation and the adsorption free energy EPEG was 1.63kJ.mol-1.

Abstract: Aluminium plate was cladded to magnesium alloy plate by using the explosive welding. The bonding morphology and composition of the explosive cladding plate was inspected by SEM and EDS. There is a wave bonding at the interface between aluminum plate and magnesium alloy plate. Then ceramic coatings were directly prepared on the surface of aluminum and magnesium alloy by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) in the same solution and at the same time. The microstructure and composition of MAO coatings were studies by SEM and EDS. The corrosion and wear resistance of MAO coatings on the two sides of the clad plate were investigated by salt spray tests and friction-wear test. The results show that the MAO coating on the Al surface consists of Al, O and Si elements, while MAO coating on the Mg surface consists of Mg, O and Si elements. The corrosion resistance of MAO coating on the Al surface was better than that on Mg surface of the explosive clad plate. The MAO coatings both on the Al surface and on the Mg surface can obviously improve the wear resistance of substrate.

Abstract: To improve the accuracy of the on-line inspection system used by a large-scale turning-milling machining center, its error sources were analyzed and some calibration methods were researched, including error calibration in Z, Y, -X and any angular directions. The error compensation method based on embedded HMI control and CNC variables control was proposed. The EN86N touch system with TT25G probe of Marposs is calibrated on the five-axis turning-milling machining center HTM125. The experiments improved that the calibration methods and the compensation method are reasonable and effective.

Abstract: The N-doped TiO2 films were prepared by cathode vacuum arc deposition with ion beam assisted. Influence of annealing temperature on the microstructure, optical property, photocatalytic activity and antibacterial activities of the N-doped TiO2 films was studied. The experimental results indicate that annealing treatment significantly affects both microstructure and photoactivity. All the as deposited N-doped TiO2 films retained an amorphous structure, the crystalline structure of N-doped TiO2 films annealed in the range 400°C- 600°C were examined to be of anatase structure with a (101) preferential orientation,photocatalytic activity of the N-doped TiO2 film annealed at 500°C was best under visible light, The N-doped TiO2 films against E. coli and S. aureus had more than 99% antibacterial rate, and the antibacterial activity of the N-doped TiO2 films stronger slightly with the increase of the annealing temperature.

Abstract: For the measurement of areal surface texture, a non-contact measurement method for areal surface texture based on the co-integration of optical microscopy image measurement and white light microscopy interference measurement is proposed, which measures not only 2D size of length but also 3D surface texture. Based on this method, a 2D&3D optical microscopy measurement system for areal surface texture has been developed. It consists of compound optical microscopy imaging system, 3D precision displacement system, hardware circuit, and corresponding software. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method of measurement have been verified by the measurement results.

Abstract: Brush plating has been an important technology for the mending of the scratched surface of the engineering parts. The heat-resisting steels are common used heat-resisting material in aviation. The process for brush plating mending of deeply scratched surface of the parts made by heat-resisting steels is introduced, the technologic methods of heat-resisting steels are studied and analyzed, the merits of the brush plating mending technology of GH34 heat-resisting steels are discussed in this article.

Abstract: The crystalline phase and morphology of the products formed during the synthesis of yttrium oxide via the hydrothermal treatment yttrium nitrate were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Products with high OH/NO3 ratios are formed with the increasing of hydrothermal treatment. The crystalline phases are evolved from Y2(OH)5.14(NO3)0.86•H2O toY4O(OH)9(NO3) and finally Y(OH)3. The hydrothermal reaction conditions play an important role in the synthesis of the microstructures. Results show the particle size and final morphology of samples could be controlled by reaction temperature, reaction time, and OH- concentration. Sheets, hexagonal and needle-like Y2O3 powders are obtained with the hydrothermal treatment of yittrium nitrate at 180 oC to 200oC for 2-8 hours at pH 9-13.
