Abstract: Different construction technologies of grouting piles bring different properties of interfaces of pile-soil thus influencing bearing capacity. In this paper, theoretical calculations can be done with the values of , and considered to determine impacts of construction technology on bearing capacity of grouting piles. At the same time, side resistance and bottom resistance of piles is discussed though the pore forming method of non-compaction, part compaction and compaction.

Abstract: In this paper, did the numerical calculation of the mixture slope’s development and changes of the stress field, seepage field ,displacement field under fluid - solid coupling effects at different levels, researching and analyzing the water-rock interaction mechanisms of the mixture slope ,and based on strength reduction , calculated the slope safety factor at different water levels, revealed the failure mechanisms of a mixture of earth and rock slope when it considers the rainfall.

Abstract: To apply Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) in slope monitoring, on the base of brief summary of principle of TDR, and with types of indoor shear tests and situ construction of different cables, reflection waves of types of different cables are studied. Compared with the monitor results by TDR and oblique monitoring result by drilling hole, the following conclusions can be gained, i.e. TDR can be fast applied in determining the sliding plane, more economical, safety, and precisely. By the research results, to satisfy different monitoring goal, the application rules of types of TDR is put forward , and TDR is a very useful tool for slope survey.

Abstract: According to pseudo-periodicity and ergodicity of chaotic systems, we put forward a fast algorithm to determine delay time in phase state reconstruction. The traditional method to calculate mutual information is time-consuming and complicated to realize, which greatly restricts its application. In our algorithm we gradually reduce the feasible computing interval and adjust the calculating step until satisfactory result is gotten. This method overcomes the tedious calculation of mutual information and meanwhile guarantees high precision. Finally the simulation results of Rössler and Lorenz systems verify the feasibility of our algorithm.

Abstract: This paper presents a progressive transmission method of mixed subdivision mesh based on multiple implied overlay tree P2P network. Peer-to-Peer networks are widely used in media transmission because of its excellent network scalability. Scalable media service, especially mixed subdivision mesh is proposed to adapt to different terminal processing abilities. For stratified characteristics of progressive mesh, we use multiple implied tree cover P2P technology to transmit 3D mesh of mixed subdivision model. It effectively realizes to reduce MAX, average system load link and lower the average Relative delay penalty. Finally a complete set of solution is given, which is proved to be an effective method by simulation experiment.

Abstract: The mass loss rate of carbon-bearing pellet during reduction process was investigated at the temperature from 900 to 1050 °C. The results show that temperature is the significant influence factor to the reduction of carbon-bearing pellet. In addition, the reduction process includes two stages and the first stage is faster than second stage. Both of steps are controlled by carbon gasification, and that is confirmed by means of the activation energy.

Abstract: This paper presents a magnetorheological(MR) rheometer which consists of a pair of rotating parallel disc, step motor, the signal collecting device, computer software for dynamic analysis etc.. In order to assess the performance of the MR rheometer, high-order spectrum analysis tools are used. The theoretical and experimental results indicate that the rheometer is useful to test the dynamic charicteristics of the MR fluids and the high-order analysis might be helpful to describe MR rheometer dynamic characteristics. The measurement and analysis process based on virtual instruments are automatically controlled by computer in this paper.

Abstract: The temperature control system is increasingly playing an important role in industrial production. Recently, lots of research have been investigated for the temperature control system based on various control strategies. The temperature control system based on the Pan-Boolean algebra PID is proposed in this paper. The new algorithm based on the Pan-Boolean algebra PID can improve the performance of the system. Also, it’s fit for the complicated variable temperature control system. The simulation results show that the validity of the proposed strategy is more effective to control temperature.

Abstract: The back group of the pinch rolls of the 1880 Slab Size Press are wearing away seriously in some domestic steel mill, so based on the finite element software a sizing press mode1 is established. The major reason of the back pinch rolls wearing away is the partly contact between the rolls and the “dog-bone” of the pressed slab. The work condition of the new bank group of the pinch rolls is greatly improved in the production line and the cost of production is saved.
