Abstract: Welding sticks H05MnNiMo and H06H1 are developed to improve the corrosion resisting property of the X80 pipeline in submerged arc welding. Influence of the concentration of sulfur-bearing medium and the temperature on the corrosion of welding seam from X80 pipeline steel was investigated with the Electrochemical Polarization Method and Weight loss Method. And the characteristic and mechanical of the welding seam was discussed. The results show that the welding seam prepared in H05MnNiMo is of high corrosion potential, both of the welding seams have a maximum of corrosion rate 1.0×10-7 mm/a, in the S2- bearing solution with a S2- concentration from 1.0% to 2.5%, at the temperature from 20 OC to 60 OC, thus they can be classified as anti-corrosive material.

Abstract: Grinding of talc powders has been studied both theoretically and experimentally. The specific rates of breakage of talc powders were measured based on the first-order breakage kinetics model and the cumulative breakage distribution parameters of talc powders were measured from primary breakage products. Based on the measurement results, the specific rate of breakage and cumulative breakage distribution functions were correlated with particle size asand , repectively. A differential-integral equation was thus build to describe grinding as a rate process and was integrated numerically. Comparisons on size distribution showed that the specific rate of breakage of talc powders increased with grinding time at an increase rateabout 0.0066min-2.

Abstract: The Duncan-Chang nonlinear constitutive model is used to carry out a three- dimensional finite element analysis of Xia Ban Di deep overburden dam with clay core (147.95m). The regularity of the change of stress and displacement with the change of material parameters under nine kinds of materials mix proportion is obtained and the optimum analysis result of stress and displacement for the seepage prevention wall is given in this paper.

Abstract: Research the evolution of architectonic aesthetics by concentrating on politics and economics in the background of Globalization. The accelerative modernization forces the individual aesthetic needs into the opposite, from which point out the evolution of the post-modern architecture can also be traced into the process from the deviation from astriction to sensibility then to the reflection on basic rationalism and at last to the aesthetic individualism. In conclusion, the trend of individualism, personalization and pure “experience” in architectonic aesthetics will continue its evolution and exert its influence on the development of Chinese architecture.

Abstract: Applying super-efficiency DEA model and co integration test method, this paper estimates the transportation technical efficiencies and tests their convergences during 1986 to 2008 in China; the main results are as follows. Average transportation technical efficiency of Chinese provinces takes on a decreasing trend since 1986.There are regional disparities of transportation technical efficiency in China, namely coastal and northeast regions have high-level technical efficiencies, while those of the central and western regions are low. The study also finds that the convergences of transportation technical efficiency exist in coastal and northeast regions in the long run, which do not exist in the middle and west parts and nation-wide. Finally, the corresponding policy suggestions are given.

Abstract: A new compound, 2,3,2',3'-Tetraphenyl-[6,6']-biquinoxalinyl was synthesized. Its structure was determined by mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. Organic electroluminescent devices using this compound as electron-transporting layer were fabricated and electroluminescent properties were studied. It was demonstrated that this compound has excellent electronic transmission performance in organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).

Abstract: This paper discusses the status quo and development trend of transmission tower materials, points out that there will be higher requirements on the varieties and specifications of transmission tower material alongside the continuous construction of power grids. Tower materials will develop in the environmental-friendly, high-strength and conservation-oriented trend. In the future, the demand for Q420, Q460 high-strength and large-width angle steel will grow enormously; the steel tubular tower will be used in transmission lines more widely due to its excellent carrying capability; new materials like weathering cold-formed steel and composite material will be gradually used in transmission towers.

Abstract: The creep of salt layer often leads to tight hole and pipe sticking, while the deviation angle has an important impact on creep rate when drilling directional wells in salt layer. This paper firstly built the creep constitutive model according to the creep property of salt layers, and defined the creep parameters by field data and log data; then built geomechanics model and applied FLAC3D software to simulate the creep of salt layer, so the safe mud density window drilling the salt layers smoothly is obtained. at the same time, at last analyzed the effect of the deviation angle to the drilling in the salt layer, The conclusion is that when the overburden pressure is major principal stress, drilling mud density is certain, the creep rate increases with the increasing of the deviation angle, the safe mud density also increased, the high deviation angle directional well in salt layers is much more risky. The conclude makes great contribution to the optimizing deviation angle, designing well track and reducing the drilling troubles when drilling directional wells in the salt layer.

Abstract: According to the theory of extrusion pressure by molding in barrel of the single screw extruder specially designed for pure UHMWPE, extrusion pressure generated during the process must be sufficient while extrusion molding with single-screw extruder. The mathematical model for formation of extrusion pressure in feeding section during single-screw extrusion molding has been established. This paper conducted a research on theory of extrusion pressure which is part of n-lamina model of non-plug flow solid conveying in feeding section by single-screw extrusion molding.

Abstract: A model based on neural network for predicting the activity of components in multiple slag system is developed. The artificial neural nets can implement any approximation of function with simple structure, while the genetic algorith is a globally optimized search one based on genetics and natural selection theory, which is available to implement the iteration process through alloying the genetic manipulation to the individuals in colonies for their restructuring and then evolve the increasingly improved approximate solutions generation by generation in accordance to the adaptability function for individuals. GA is always used to give the weight and threshold of neural nets. Computing and simulating the MnO-SiO2-Al2O3 and FeO-MnO-SiO2 slag systems, it is found that the model has high nonlinear capability and the computation results fit well with that in relevant earlier works, thus enabling the accurate prediction of the activity of components in molten slag.
