Abstract: The quality of hole is difficult to be guaranteed and tool wears severely in drilling process of the carbon fiber composite material. To investigate the drilling process, a series of drilling experiment has been carried out .The influence law of drilling parameters, including the spindle speed, the feeding speed and the diameter of drill, on the drilling force and drilling quality for the carbon fiber composite material has been investigated.

Abstract: Application service provider (ASP) based dynamic alliance has great advantages in die industry. This paper presents a complete scheme for establishing an ASP-based dynamic alliance for automobile panel die industry. The proposed scheme divides the job of partner selection into three phases, i.e., discovery of potential partners, junior evaluation and selection of potential partners and combination optimization of dynamic alliance. Methods for the three phases of partner selection are proposed and discussed. A prototype system has been developed to confirm the proposed scheme’s feasibility and efficiency.

Abstract: This paper introduces the structure and working principle of AC servo control system based on programmable multi-axis controller (PMAC). The configurations and parameter tuning method for PMAC PID filters are discussed. It has been shown that, by combining feed-forward control and feed-back control together, the robustness and stability of the servo control system can be improved and the servo tracking error can be minimized if the controller parameters are tuned properly.

Abstract: Many Chinese knitted production enterprises are still adopting the traditional management model, making them face more and more problems in quality and productivity. This paper presents a method to balance and optimize the product line by using industrial engineering technique so as to promote production efficiency. The proposed method has been applied to the optimization of the assembly line of a knitted costume enterprise. The results show that the balance rate of the assembly line has been improved from 65% to 88% and the daily output capacity has been promoted from 738 pieces to 1116 pieces.

Abstract: Photogrammetric was widely used in engineering applications. But in a moving scene the standards’ position kept changed and accuracy of measurement would wave synchronously. To get a stable and precise optical measure system, a method using synchronously moving light standard with the camera was presented in this paper. The paper described the principle of measurement, the recognition algorithm and the height calculation. To meet the Real-time requirement a pre-computer method was used to optimize the calculation and to shorten the consume time. Experiments results show that the method has high accuracy and rapid detection speed to guarantee a constant clearance between the air pipe and uneven ground around railway.

Abstract: This paper classifies reliability assurance management strategies into four modes, i.e., reactive mode, preventive mode, predictive mode and proactive mode, advanced a decision method of equipment reliability assurance based on multilevel management. The risks of equipment failures are also categorized into four levels according to their degrees of severity and occurring rates. In order to improve pertinence and reduce cost of reliability assurance, it is proposed to adopt a multi-level management strategy in handling the risks. For this purpose, a model for relationship between risk levels and reliability assurance modes, a model for equipment reliability assurance cost and a model for equipment risk increments after reliability assurance have been established. The applied risk management mode for each concrete risk is determined by minimizing the total reliability assurance cost with risk increment serving as a constraint condition. The proposed approach has been demonstrated by using an example.

Abstract: A framework for optimization of process parameters in material processing and production is described. The framework is designed for effective set up and solution of optimization problems as part of process design, as well as to support development of numerical models by inverse identification of model parameters. The general framework is outlined, which has been supplemented by a neural networks module in order to enable real time decision support. Simulator based on meshless method with radial basis functions (RBF) has been utilized.

Abstract: With the development of economic globalization, knowledge management system plays more and more important role in modern enterprises. Knowledge management includes many aspects such as knowledge modeling, knowledge acquisition, knowledge allocation, knowledge sharing and etc. However, currently existing researches mainly focused on the personal knowledge modeling (i.e., carrier modeling) and business process modeling, but rarely provided the integrated tools to solve the problem of knowledge allocation. This paper proposes a multi-carrier oriented knowledge allocation scheme, which is based on business process modeling. The details of the proposed system have been discussed.

Abstract: Based on the study of the characteristics of load current signal, this article develops a method to extract features that can be use to distinguish the different working status of machine tools in real-time manner. The features are extracted from wavelet packet energy spectrum and bispectrum of the load current signal, and thus can take advantages of both wavelet packet transforms and bispectrum in signal analysis. Experimental results show that, compared with the features extracted from wavelet packet energy spectrum or bispectrum alone, the features extracted by applying the proposed method can provide better performance in term of identifying the machine working status.

Abstract: As for the information need of the supplier production status in order allocation, parameter of production load rate was introduced to represent the status within the order delivery time. Analysis on the characteristics of the production load rate was made at first after its definition was given. Then after a key resource collection was built based on the key process of production, together with introduction of the algorithm of the load as far as the key resource collection and different scheduling modes are concerned, the calculation model of the supplier production load rate was built. Furthermore, the practicability of the algorithm was illustrated by the example.
