Abstract: This paper presents an uncertainty propagation analysis method using the Convex Model Theory (CM) for turbine cooling blade multidisciplinary design. Convex Model is used to describe the design variables’ uncertainty, and it’s propagation equation is derived. Monte-Carlo(MC) method and Convex Model Theory (CM) are all employed to calculate target variable’s variation. Result shows that CM method is more time-saving than MC method. First order second moment method is employed to calculate the reliability of target variable’s variation to evaluate the difference of the results of the two methods. As the actual probability density function of design variables is unknown, so reliability analysis considers different probability density functions. Response surface method is used to construct the approximation of the multidisciplinary analysis. Reliability analysis result shows that CM method keeps the same accuracy with MC method.

Abstract: The frame of blueberry harvesters is quite different from other vehicles. In this article, the design for whole frame structure is elaborated. According to the mechanical characteristics of the frame, materials are selected and manufacturability requirements are limited. Based on PRO/E software, accurate model of the frame of blueberry harvesters is established. And then, on the basis of ANSYS software, the finite element model of frame of blueberry harvesters is established to carry out static analysis on full-loaded and distortion working conditions. Results meet the strength requirements and displacement requirements, so it verifies the reasonableness of the design of frame.

Abstract: Digital design and assembly of cables is a most important and difficult problem in mechanical industry. The paper solved the problem through the CAD/CAE software. Firstly, 3-D model of electrical bundle was built in the digital mock-up. The model reflected the parameters of the bundle exactly. After the design of cables, the simulation of cable moving was developed. The flexible feature of cable was displayed in the animation. It was an exciting achievement of this article, which can be used in the virtual assembly of cables to detect design problems. Besides the maintenance process containing cable plug and pull was simulated. The ergonomics was then tested in the form of virtual maintenance.

Abstract: The nonlinear dynamic model of a gear-shaft-housing system is established by using finite element method (FEM). The nonlinear dynamic response of the coupling system under gear tooth time-varying stiffness, manufacturing error and other internal excitations is analyzed. Displacement, velocity and acceleration response of the coupling system and meshing stiffness and bearing support stiffness influences on vibration response of the coupling system are studied. The results show that the vibration amplitude near housing bearing seat is largest, secondly is the top of the housing and the vibration response at the sides and bottom of the housing are the smallest. As meshing stiffness and bearing support stiffness increase, vibration velocity and acceleration of the housing increase gradually. But bearing stiffness influence on the vibration response of the coupling system is significantly larger than that of meshing stiffness.

Abstract: This paper proposed a new interests game model with dynamic correlation analysis in distributed virtual environment based on mechanism design theory. The game definitions in correlation network and interest matrix were given and an analysis approach to find out the interest focus of virtual agents and administrator was presented. Thus a prototype virtual environment game system was implemented to demonstrate the effects of our approach in optimizing the visual rendering process and highlighting the collaborative perception according to payoffs under imperfect information condition.

Abstract: In this paper, we develop an algorithm to globally solve a class of mathematical models in system engineering. Firstly, by utilizing equivalent problem and linear relaxation method, a linear relaxation programming of original problem is established. Secondly, by using branch and bound technique, a determined branch and bound algorithm is proposed for globally solving original problem. Finally, the convergence of the proposed algorithm is given and numerical examples showed that the presented algorithm is feasible.

Abstract: According to the existing problems and shortcomings of the manufacturing enterprise quality management, integrating with enterprises’ new needs of quality management in the recent implementation of QHSE( Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) system, this paper built an EII( Enterprise Information Integration)- Oriented QMS( Quality Management System) model, discussed the integrating problems involved in the system, then proposed the overall EII model. By analyzing the information integration relations between QMS and other enterprise applications, this paper put forward some practical ideas and principles of system integration, then built the framework of EII- Oriented QMS solutions. The aim of this paper is making full use of quality information, improving the quality of management and control, and helping manufacturing enterprises to better understand what EII- Oriented QMS is and how to make it a successful project.

Abstract: A hybrid genetic algorithm based on Pareto was proposed and applied to flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP) with multi-objective, and the multi-objective FJSP optimization model was built, where the make-span and the machine utilization rate were concerned. The algorithm embeds Pareto ranking strategy into Pareto competition method. The operation-based encoding and an active scheduling decoding method are employed. In order to promote solution diversity, the niche technology and many kinds of crossover operations are used. Pareto filter saves the optimum individual occurring in the course of evolution, which avoids losing the optimum solutions. Three simulation experiments are carried out to illustrate that the proposed method could solve multi-objective job shop scheduling problem effectively.

Abstract: The slagging process in high temperature furnace smelting technology was simulated by improved BP neural network. According to the actual production condition, the improved algorithm was applied to determine the optimized neural network structure as 3-5-1 network in slag density prediction. It shows that the slagging process by means of improved BP neural network is feasible. By the simulation of BP neural network, the slag density can be predicted to adjust the proper slag composition, which can be produce high-quality metal products.

Abstract: Wood-PMMA composite was manufactured by impregnating methyl methacralyte (MMA) monomers into wood porous structure, followed by in-situ polymerization through catalyst-thermal treatment. The structure was simply analyzed by SEM and FTIR, and its durability was also examined. The results indicate that PMMA polymer generated in wood cellular structure, and interacted with wood cell walls, resulting in chemical combination between them. The durability involving dimensional stability, water repellency, decay resistance as well as acid resistance was whole improved over untreated wood. Such composite enhancing wood values can be used as structural furniture material and traffic material.
