Abstract: In order to improve the integration and automation level of control system of bellows automatic welding equipment, an open control system of bellows welding equipment is proposed which is based on "PC+motion controller" according to the characteristics of welding bellows and current technology of welding control. IPC D610 and the motion card NextmoveES is effectively connectted by RS232 + RS232 / RS485 communication interface. And the integrated top software of control system is developped by using VB based on API function which is provided by controller, parameters setting and real time monitoring tasks module are completely integrated on one system. The syetem is reliable and effectively, the automation level of the bellows welding is greatly improved.

Abstract: Support vector machine (SVM) is gaining popularity on time series analysis due to its advanced theory foundation. The introduction of the hidden information on the basis of SVM is called support vector machine plus (SVM+). However, the hidden information which provides something closely associated with the time series increases the difficulty of training SVM model. In this paper, a new time series regression method GA-RSVM+ is put forward, in which Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to search the optimal combination of free parameters. The experimental result shows that GA-RSVM+ can accurately determine the parameters on its own and achieve best regression precision. This method has a clear advantage in the regression analysis of time series.

Abstract: Flying splicer is a key component of web-fed offset presses for automatically replacing the exhausting web roll with a new one without stopping the machine. The composition and working principle of pneumatic controlling mechanism for driving the flying splicer was analyzed according to the processing requirements of automatic web alternation. By using the software FluidSim, the pneumatic sequential operation controlling circuitry with multi-cylinders for driving the flying splicer was designed, in which the air cylinders cooperates to accelerate the new reel to the circumferential velocity of the expiring web, paste the adhesive end of the new reel with the expiring web, and cut the remaining piece of expired web off. A system scheme and designing method of the pneumatic controlling system suitable for automatic web roll change on high speed offset printing presses was brought out.

Abstract: The effect on the feeding rate and feeding stability of the multi-point piezoelectric vibratory feeder, of various factors such as driving mode, operating frequency and input signal phase difference is analyzed in detail through many experimental researches by means of the multi-point piezoelectric vibratory feeder developed by ourselves. It is found that the driving mode has critical influence on the conveying performance of the multi-point piezoelectric vibratory feeder. Symmetrical two-point, front single-point and rear single-point vibration sources, these three driving modes have their conveying performance relatively stable. However, three-point, asymmetrical two-point and bottom single-point vibration sources, these three driving modes have their feeding rate somewhat lower than that of the former three modes in the same conditions and their conveying performance is extremely unstable. In particular for the driving mode of single-point vibration source with the bottom close to the rear, conveyance of materials is almost impossible. The effect of phase difference is represented in the driving mode of multi-point vibration sources.

Abstract: In this paper, a new method to design bar tacking machine is introduced. According to multidiscipline model design rule, mechanical, kinematic and control model of the bar tacking machine are constructed. Based on such models, a mechatronic cooperative design and simulation environment is setup by using RecurDyn and Matlab/simulink software. By analyzing the working condition of this machine and using them as the input, some working results can be got from the environment. Ideal output is reached by modifying the design schedule and parameter. By this method, designing efficiency is improved and the testing cost is reduced.

Abstract: In order to boost the reliability of a floating TUV system, the research represents the central control system to be a Depth-setting TUV control system based RS-485 network. The paper will show the three aspect technology of this RS-485 network. According to the characteristics of the RS-485 network, the control architecture, the hardware structure and the communication protocol of this distribution system will be illustrated in the passage. Then, the passage will published the material object of the floating TUV. Given the experiment method and conclusion, it proves the distributed system is more stability, reliable, fast in response than ever in the last part.

Abstract: By testing the running gear system with fault, the vibration signals of gear system are acquired at different speeds. Using wavelet de-noising by threshold to extract the useful feature signals, combining time-frequency analysis with intelligence detection theory of wavelet analysis, the feature signals are decomposed into different frequency bands. Then, according to the energy feature theory, the magnitude of energy in each frequency band is calculated to identify different faults in different running conditions successfully. Based on above all, it called the MATLAB Script Node in LabVIEW to process and diagnose the acquired feature signals with fault. And, a gear fault detection system, Virtual Instrument Diagnostic System, is developed by combining both advantages of LabVIEW and MATLAB, using hybrid programming method about both of them. The system possesses various functions like as: collection, analysis, feature extracting, fault detecting, diagnosis and so on. The results show that the diagnosis system runs well and can be used in the detection and diagnosis of actual operation system.

Abstract: This paper presents a new monitoring method of non-contact blade status—blade tip timing monitoring method based on the principle of discontinuous phase principle, and a new monitoring system of non-contact running status of cooling tower fan blades is developed on the basis of the technology of single-chip microcomputer(SCM) and the blade tip timing monitoring method.The monitoring system is controlled by the SCM and has real-time monitoring to the blade. The pulse signal which is collected by the sensor is processed by the SCM.Through using the timing and interrupt function of SCM, the pulse signal is analysed and processed, when the blade breaks down and deforms, the system will shut down the fan and output a forecast alarm, so the blade accident will be prevented. It is proved that the monitoring method can greatly improve the reliability of the fan running status and the fault diagnosis and effectively prevent the default of the blades, so the monitoring system has a wide application value.

Abstract: A serial communication interface is designed for an eddy current displacement sensor, which consists of a probe, an oscillating drive circuit, and an RMS-to-DC converter. The experimental results show that the output voltage of the eddy current displacement sensor is 0~5V, the resolution is FS±0.25%, and the maximum linearity error is ±0.6%. In addition, user interfaces for digital signals and serial communication output signals are also built so that users can set the communication parameters to be integrated with industrial automation equipments or to be used by automated production line. The main advantages for the eddy current displacement sensor designed and developed in this paper include low energy consumption, low price, reconfigurable format, friendly interface, customized installation and easy assembly. Also, the serial communication design meets the requirements of flexible production process, production monitoring, and remote malfunction diagnosis, etc. It is applicable to all commercial machine tools or industrial machinery family.

Abstract: Controller Area Network (CAN) is a kind of serial communication network that supports the distributed control and the real time control. The CAN have high performances and high reliabilities. It can solve many problems of complex circuitry, wiring harness increasing, operation reliability reducing and the difficulty of fault maintain increasing while using CAN Bus technology in automobile. In this paper, the form of CAN bus and node design method based on MC912D60A single chip microcomputer were studied and introduced. At last, the hardware design principle diagrams and software flow charts were given.
