Abstract: A new cellulose graft copolymer was synthesized by the homogeneous graft polymerization in ionic liquid. The methyl methacrylate was successfully grafted onto the bagasse cellulose in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) as a homogenous media. The obtained copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of thermal analysis curves exhibited two separated pyrolysis with cellulose and the grafted pMMA. Moreover, the homogenous reaction media applied can be carried out in completely recycled ionic liquid, and the modified cellulose has a potential value for oil absorbent.

Abstract: Mesoporous silica nanotube bundles with short channels were synthesized through a surfactant-templated process with the addition of dodecane. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and high resolution scanning electron microscope (HRSEM) studies show that the channels of the silica nanotubes are parallel gathered in nano-size bundles. Each particle of these nano-size bundles contains less than 10 silica nanotubes. The length of the silica nanotube channel is about 200 nm while the pore size of the channels is about 11 nm. Dodecane solubilized in the hydrophobic cores of P123 micelles leads to large pore size and the unique bundle structure of the silica nanotubes.

Abstract: In this paper, the antiwear properties of Zinc dithiodialkylphosphate and its synergistic effect with Benzotriazole have been studied by test. The results show that small amount of Benzotriazole can greatly improve the antiwear properties of ZDDP . The compound additive have been used in the research of engine oil formulation, we gained good effect.

Abstract: In this study, nanocomposite membranes were prepared from poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) with different amounts of cellulose nanocrystals as filler and characterized by thermogravimetry (TG). Swelling sorption behavior of various feed alcohol mixtures was investigated at 80°C, and found that NCC in PVA matrix could help to reduce the overall membrane swelling. Mechanical properties of the nanocomposite membranes were examined in relation to NCC content in the composite. Optimal NCC content in the composite was found to be 3 wt% in terms of its overall properties as compared to neat PVA film. With the addition of 3 wt% NCC to PVOH the ultimate tensile strength showed improvement compared to pure PVA. The PVA/ NCC nanocomposite membrane had shown increases in elongation at low filler loadings. The TG analysis demonstrated that the nanocomposite membranes exhibited higher thermal resistance.

Abstract: This paper mainly investigates the effect of embedded optical fibers on the tensile and bending propertities of cross-ply glass fiber reinforced plastics. Different optical fibers and different embedded layers are both considered. The results show nearly all the specimens are varying within a small region. But 3 OF at 0°embedded in bending specimens exhibit about 18.3% reduction, and the effect of 3 OF in the under layer is more than that of 3 OF in the upper layer.

Abstract: The content of air bubble in oil will effect on the value of volume elasticity modulus, and effect on the pressure of oil in working cavity. The article use the formula between the content of air bubble and the value of volume elasticity modulus in heat insulation process, and model is built which shows the relation between the content of air bubble and pressure of oil in sealed working cavity when vane moving from big arc area to outlet area. At last the curve of oil’s pressure in sealed working cavity was obtained by computer simulation when the content of air bubble in oil is given different values.

Abstract: The effect of Fe2O3 on the sintering property of MgO-CaO refractory was studied by XRD analysis and SEM analysis of sectioned specimens. As the content of ferric oxide increases, the specimen has higher density, lower porosity and the cold crush strength increases. In contrast the density and porosity of the fired specimens change slightly when the content is up to 6%. From XRD analysis, ferric oxide do not exist owing to that ferric oxide reacted with calcium oxide producing calcium ferrite; From SEM analysis, when the content of ferric oxide is 6%, calcium ferrite distributes uniformly between the main crystal phase and the matrix and the overall structure is homogeneous and dense. The result shows the nonuniform distribution of calcium ferrite as the content of ferric oxide is relatively low, while as the content of ferric oxide is high the excess amount of calcium ferrite existed in the sintered specimens will generate superfluous liquid phase to reduce the fire resistance of materials.

Abstract: Based on the ion beam sputtering deposition technology, we adopted the reactive sputtering deposition method to accomplish the coating on the glass substrata with ZnO thin films. We used the four-factor and three-level L9(34) orthogonal experiment to obtain the best technological parameters of deposited ZnO thin films: discharge voltage 3.5KV, oxygen current capacity 8SCCM, the coil current 8A, the distance between target and substrata 140mm. The purity of the deposited ZnO thin film is 85.77%, and it has the good crystallization in orientation. The experimental results show that research and development of the ion beam sputtering source is advanced and has a good application value, and the ion beam sputtering deposition technology can be used to deposit the preferred orientation thin films with good performance. The findings have provided the experimental result and the beneficial reference for the ion beam sputtering deposition research.

Abstract: Calcium oxide stabilized cubic zirconia powders were synthesized with electrochemical method using analytical reagent zirconium oxychloride and calcium oxide as the raw materials. From XRD analysis, zirconia powders doped calcium oxide are mainly being as cubic phase under the temperature lower than 1100°C. While the zirconia powders which did not doped calcium oxide were transformed from cubic phase to monoclinic phase when the powders were sintered at 750°C. The calcium oxide used as dopant in zirconia has two advantages, the first is that it can stabilize the cubic zircnnia, the second is that it can restrain the zirconia powders’ growing up.

Abstract: The erosion and salt spray corrosion–erosion cyclic properties of TC4 titanium are systematically studied in this paper. 1Cr11Ni2W2MoV martensitic stainless steel was selected as the comparison material. Experimental results show that the erosion resistance and salt-spray corrosion resistance have no direct relation to the hardness of two kinds of material. TC4 with low hardness and good toughness exhibits much better erosion resistance than 1Cr11Ni2W2MoV with high hardness and poor toughness under the same test conditions. The erosion rate at 90°impinged angle is lower than that at 30°impinged angle. The combination of erosion and salt spray corrosion reduced the erosion rate of TC4, producing negative interactions.
