Abstract: Tourism involves travel, and travelling is inherently dependent on carbon-based fuel. The low cost of carbon fuels resulted in massive expansions of global tourism with many countries now depending on tourism exports for their national economies. However, oil is a finite resource and tourism’s dependence on it creates major vulnerabilities. It is also increasingly recognised that to combat man-made global climate change it is essential to put a price on carbon, for example through carbon taxes or Emissions Trading Schemes. The implications of a diminishing availability of cheap carbon-based fuel are extremely complex and far reaching, both for society as a whole and for tourism.

Abstract: The existing Fengyun (FY) satellites, resource satellites and ocean satellites all can observe the earth muti-funtionally and work well in monitoring environment and disasters. However, all these satellites are insufficient for space resolution, time resolution, spectral resolution and all-weather requirements when facing complicated environmental problems and natural disasters. This paper evaluates the multi-spectral remote sensing data quality of the Environment and Disasters Monitoring Micro-satellite Constellation (HJ-1A/B)A/B satellite and extracts data characteristics to offer references for promotion and application this data.

Abstract: The rural land turnover has begun since the late of 1980s with the large number of migrant workers go for works in cities. At the beginning, the rural land turnover is just the disorder turnover, but now it has became organized. The rural land turnover in Chongqing plays so much important role in the development of Chongqing such as promoting agriculture construction adjustment and intensive land usage, increasing farmers’ income, balancing cities and urban areas development. But there are also many risks in the period of the rural land turnover. So we must pay much attention to it and analyze it to ensure the rural land turnover processed orderly so as to protect farmers’ rights and interests and achieve the social stability.

Abstract: This paper adopts the laboratory simulation methods and makes explorations on the best modification parameters of Bentonite affected by two kinds of organic substances, pig manure degradable solution and HDTMA. The best preparation technology condition for pig manure degradable solution modification Bentonite is W pig manure: WBentonite=3:1 (mass ratio). PH is 9. The reaction temperature is 40°C and the reaction time is 4h. The best preparation technology condition for HDTMA modification Bentonite is WHDTMA: WBentonite =1:2 (mass ratio). PH is 7. The reaction temperature is 90°C and the reaction time is 2.5h.

Abstract: People spend 80% of your time indoors. Because indoor pollutant concentration is generally higher than the corresponding outdoor concentration, indoor air quality (IAQ) is obviously an environment of the component, about the human health and comfortable sense. This paper introduced the main source of the classification and main air pollution indoor environmental impact stadium. We analyses the main influencing factors on indoor air conditioning system of indoor air quality. Paper proposes some measures to improve the indoor air quality indoor stadium.

Abstract: Taking the opportunity of bridgehead strategy of Chinese central government, Kunming began constructing new airport, the fourth hub airport open to ASEAN and the Eurasia continents. The new international airport is expected to come into service at the beginning of 2012. The successful construction of an airport with modern equipment, however, does not indicate a successful operation. Among questions related to this general issue, a full understanding of the competition environment at Kunming new airport is one of the significant cases for the development of air freight. This paper firstly introduces Porter Five Force model in order to reveal how the competition environment demonstrates at Kunming airport. Then statistics of air throughput in recent three years is shown to certify the conclusion from Porter Five Force model analysis and thereafter follow reasons for the status. Suggestions are posed for how to face up these competitions at the end of this paper.

Abstract: The present work focused on developing a rapid estimation of carbon storage of single tree in urban community greening that is an important carbon storage field. The carbon storage is determined by the total biomass measured by getting carbon content percentage and density values of plants. Having surveying and calculating carbon content percentage, volume density and carbon storage of four main kinds of trees in eight residential areas, the value of computing carbon content percentage, volume density are 0.5 and 0.5×103kg/m3, respectively, agreeing with their default value 0.5. The developed carbon storage formula is applicable to computing single arbor green vegetation of cities. The carbon storage biomass of Cinnamomum camphora is the largest among the four kinds of main trees (Cinnamomum camphora (L.) Presl.), acacia (Albizia julibrissin), magnolia (Magnolia Grandiflora Linn.), laurel (Osmanthus fragrans. The results show that the calculation method is applicable and can be expanded for extensive use.

Abstract: We sampled total of 74 polluted soil samples in the polluted field, and set up 5 surface water inspect spots by means of setting plane sample points and deep well sampling according to the original produce layout and pollution situation of Dongsheng chemical plant. At the same time, we set 4 soil sampling points outside the polluted field, 6 inspect positions of surface water, and 4 atmospheres inspect stations. The total quantity and the concentration of active form of heavy metals elements in the soil samples were analyzed by atomic absorption spectra; and the volatility organic matters in the soil are measured using gas chromatography-mass spectrograph jointed measurement. The results show that the polluted concentration of Cr in sub-surface layer of the field is highest, and the largest concentrations of the total quantity of Cr, Cr6+, toluene and dimethylbenzene are 13900, 4840, 258 and 33.6 mg•kg-1, respectively. The datum show that the soil in the field is heavily polluted by toluene, dimethylbenzene, total Cr, and Cr6+, and some soil is characteristic of strong acid or strong alkali, and surface water inner the field exists heavy Cr6+ pollution.

Abstract: We sampled total of 74 polluted soil samples in the polluted field by means of setting 37 plane sample points and digged sampling caves according to the original producing layout and pollution situation of Suzhou chemical plant. The total quantity and the concentration of active form of heavy metal elements in the soil samples were analyzed by atomic absorption spectra; and the volatility organics in the soil are measured using jointed gas chromatography-mass spectrograph measurement. The results show that the polluted area is over 30%. The main pollutants are carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, aromatic compounds in the north part of the field, and toluene, P-dichlorobenzene, and petroleum hydrocarbons in the south part. The main pollutants underground 2-3 m are petroleum-derived hydrocarbons, volatile halogenated hydrocarbons, and aromatic compounds.

Abstract: The ecological security of coastal area has been a focus in the research of coastal wetlands ecosystem. However, with the development of China’s coastal tourism, the research of coastal wetlands ecological security under the impact of tourism activities seems not updated enough. Therefore, this paper selected Fengxian and Jinshan District on Shanghai Hangzhou Bay North Shore, and made tourism activities the major driving factor for ecological security of tourism environment in coastal area, thus establishing an ecological security evaluation system of costal tourism environment, based on DPSIR Model. The result showed that tourism development would enhance the ecological security level of regional tourism environment, and tourism activities would exert positive impact on regional tourism environment. The conclusions include: (1) Before 2003, the tourism environment of Fengxian District was in an insecure state, but with tourism development, in 2007, its ecological security level was largely elevated; (2) The tourism ecological security of Jinshan District was higher than that of Fengxian District, but due to industrial development and tourism downturn, ecological security witnessed a trough in 2003.
