Abstract: The traditional administration-driven organization, construction production-oriented, has become the bottleneck which restricts Large-Scale Construction Programme (LSCP) management. Service-Dominant Logic provides a new perspective for the innovation and research of LSCP. The concept of Service-driven organization (SDO) of LSCP was proposed through analyzing the current situation and problems LSCP organization. Besides, six components of SDO organization design, including strategy, culture, structure, driving force, information and knowledge, were discussed. The conceptual model of SDO of LSCP was established.

Abstract: In view of the importance of undergraduate students cognitive learning experience in higher education, this study was conducted in order to investigate the effectiveness of the use of past civil engineering projects as case studies. The outcomes indicate that the use of case studies enhances the students educational experiences that conduce to cognitive learning and motivate for future ethical practice. In general, the use of case studies reassures the students aspiration in becoming practicing civil engineers upon graduation.

Abstract: The rapid development of construction engineering brings profit, but it also brings risks we only for engineering project risk correctly understanding, objective evaluation, can reasonably and control the negative effect of the risk based on the ISM principle, choose the project risk, use the method of reachability matrix and the various factors construction engineering project risk factors explain structure model, through the various risks of progressive relationship between, and puts forward the managers should be based on different factors influence degree to differentiate between, and find out the root cause, this paper focuses on the analysis and control of the main project risk.

Abstract: This paper uses the utility function to determine the distribution of tenders costs as the most realistic normal distribution with parameters and . It comes up with the tenders strategies through maximized utility analysis and discusses the influence of risk preference coefficient on bidding strategies. In view of the present construction market, the thesis proposes the necessity and the pressing to continue to strengthen the application of the bidding system.

Abstract: The life-cycle of the Yellow River-crossing tunnel is divided into six stages, including planning, design, bidding, construction, operation, maintenance, and disposal. To ensure the safety of the tunnel during various stages, the concept of life-cycle risk management is introduced. The article identified the risks in all stages and proposed corresponding measures for risk controlling, some of which were already applied in the project and achieved good effect.

Abstract: Claim is an important part of the code of valuation with bill quantity, but the connotation and extension of claims are not defined in the valuation mode of Bill of Quantities. Therefore, on the basis of foreign constitute systems, this paper uses deductive reasoning method to study the presumptive constitute of cost claim research. Combined the assumption with the characteristics of BQ in China, this paper puts forward the constituent system framework of construction cost claiming in China, and conduct specific research on profit claim

Abstract: In the promotion of global economic integration, Chinese enterprises began to enter the international engineering contracting market. As risk factors are more complex in international environment, risk management has become an important research topic at the moment. FMEA, shorted for Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, is applied to study the failure modes for each part of the product and to control risk in the first line of defense. Taking advantage of the idea of FMEA, contractors have to identify all the risk in international engineering and build a multi-level structure. On the basis of analytic hierarchy process, we calculate the risk relative importance and harm degree by analysis and assessment. Then take effective measures to avoid risk. With the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, we try to form a risk management system for international project.

Abstract: The development of BIM in China is still at the primary stage. The scope of application is mainly limited within the design phase and building a three-dimension model (3D), which is far away from what is expected. Based on the present situation, the paper analyzes the application process of BIM at the design phase, and puts forward the reason for optimizing the design process, then builds the new design process.

Abstract: The civil engineers' structure of quality is mainly consisting of three levels which are the knowledge, ability and quality. The rich and three-dimensional of knowledge structure, the ability of engaging in engineering design, organizing, managing and solving technical problems in engineering constructions, excellent humanities, scientific quality, and engineering quality are necessary for a civil engineer. Therefore, aiming to achieve innovation and development of civil engineering personnel training, the comprehensive curriculum system, diverse methods and paths of training is to be developed in higher education.
