Abstract: The dyeing properties of chrysophanol on polyester (PET) were investigated. Chrysopahnol was stable with the pH range of 3 to 7. And in this pH range, the hue of Chrysophanol of dyed polyester showed very little change. The K/S values increased significantly when the temperature was raised from 90°C to 110°C, and if the temperature was 110°C, the dyeing time exceeded 90min, the dye uptake didn’t increase any more. The adsorption of chrysophanol on polyester accorded with Nerst Partition Relation, and the adsorption capacity increased linearly with the increasing chrysophanol concentration. The partition coefficient and affinity increased with the temperature rising.

Abstract: To investigate the Application Performances of the anionic gemini surfactant Ethanediyl-α,ω-bis(sodium N-lauroyl-β-alaninate)(EBLA) as silk degumming auxiliaries, the surface activity of the gemini surfactant was measured by the surface tension method. The dependence of degumming rate on surfactant concentration and degumming time were discussed, and the whiteness, tensile strength and capillary effect of the degummed silk fabric were measured. The results revealed that the gemini surfactant possessed excellent surface activities and its degumming effect was pretty good, the critical micelle concentration(CMC) of EBLA was 4.74×10-5 mol·dm-3, and the surface tension at the CMC(γCMC) of it was 26.6 mN·m-1. With lower dosage of the surface active agent and shorter degumming time, the perform indexes of the fabric degummed by the gemini surfactant EBLA were better than those of the fabric degummed by marseille soap.

Abstract: A sol type anti-felting agent containing PPD-[Si(OH)3]2 synthesized and applied to the wool with pad-dry-cure process. The structure of the prepolymer was characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and the film transparency and the fiber microstructure were proved though UV-vis analysis and WAXD. The results indicated that the coating could endow a better anti-felting effect with low curing temperature at 120°C and 3 min, the area shrinking rate from13.44% of the original fabric decrease to 2.86% of the treated samples without strength decreased and handle changed stiff seriously, which accord with the IWS Test Method 31 standard.

Abstract: Three novel Brønsted acidic ionic liquids (ILs), 1-(3-sulfopropyl) hexamethyleneiminium hydrogen sulfate ([HMIPS]HSO4), 1-(3-sulfopropyl) hexamethyleneiminium tosilate ([HMIPS]OTs) and 1-hexamethyleneiminium hydrogen sulfate([HMI]HSO4), were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR and DSC-TG. Their catalytic activities for the esterification of citric acid with n-butanol were examined and compared with the imidazolium-based ILs. The results showed that the hexamethyleneiminium-based ILs exhibits excellent catalytic activity. By using [HMIPS]HSO4 as the catalyst, the yield of tributyl citrate reached 97.5%. Furthermore, the catalysts were reused at least 10 times without significant decrease in activity

Abstract: An improved synthetic approach of tenatoprazole, an antiulcerative drug, is reported. The first step in this synthesis involves the coupling of 2-mercapto-5-methoxyimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine with 2-chloromethyl-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine hydrochloride to afford sulfide 4, and the subsequent step of oxidation using substoichiomitric amount of hydrogen peroxide to give sulfoxide 1 quantitatively. The overall yield is around 80% for both two-step synthesis. The progress in this process is no purification process and affords the target compound with 99% purity by HPLC.

Abstract: Ethanolamine (EA, including MEA, DEA and TEA) is a kind of heat sensitive material. It is easy to be colored at high temperature which influences the product quality and its application. This paper studies the relationship between color number and time of MEA, DEA, TEA and their mixtures at different temperatures. The result shows that MEA is most sensitive to high temperature, TEA take the second place, DEA is almost unaffected. DEA can protect TEA and MEA from being colored, the more DEA content, the better effect. According to the results of tests and process simulation, optimized parameters of separation equipment and operation are put forward which can provide guidance for the production of high purity, low color number of TEA.

Abstract: For high power density diesel engine operating characteristics and its unique compact structure, the development of new high power density diesel engine oil referred to the latest diesel engine oil standard GB 11122-2006. Through the comprehensive assessment of physical and chemical properties, the composite of poly a-olefin (PAO) and polymer esters was determined as base oil,and added high-performance additives. This oil developed has clean dispersion, antioxidation, anti-wear , anti-corrosion and other properties. the lubricating oil can well satisfy the performance requirements of high power density diesel engine.

Abstract: A series of novel complexes of transition metal (Co, Fe and Mn) with imidaloze have been synthesized and characterized by Elemental Analysis, FT-IR and UV-Vis Absorption spectroscopy. Based on elemental and spectral data, the complexes were found to be of Co(C3H4N2)4(ClO4)2 (1), Fe(C3H4N2)3(ClO4)3 (2) and Mn(C3H4N2)4(Ac)2 (3) (C3H4N2= imidazole). The three complexes and the ligand (imidazole) display DNA binding ability, ascertained by UV-Vis titration.

Abstract: O-cationic Chitosan was prepared by self-made cationic ether agent 2,3-epoxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(GTA) and chitosan. In this process, the effects of reaction solvent, reaction temperature, reaction time, amount of KOH and GTA on the substitution of O-cationic chitosan were studiedand the optimal reaction conditions were investigated. The optimal reaction conditions were as follows: reaction solvent Isopropanol, reaction time 30 h,reaction temperature 85 °C, KOH 3 mL(40 %) and the ratio of chitosan to GTA is 1:1.5.The degree of cationic is 55.36 %.

Abstract: An imidazolium-based chiral ionic liquid with chiral center in anion was synthesized in one step from the materials of alkylation of N-methylimidzole and (S)-(-)-2-chloro-propionic acid for the first time. The structures and thermal properties of the objective product were confirmed by FT-IR, 1HNMR and DSC, respectively. The results indicate that it may be used as a new chiral solvent for asymmetric synthesis, chiral catalyst and chiral separation.
