Abstract: Nowadays in automotive industry JIT production mode is an overwhelming trend. And it resulted in an unprecedented challenge to the traditional mode of production designing, operation and information transaction. To solve the problems mentioned above a novel method is proposed to establish planning system models with tree discrete view structure, to visualize control and optimization in designing production line based on processing work flow. This model gave attention to various paths to access and control the production line, and also to communications with other systems among enterprises. Finally, this paper proposed a prototype system and took a production line of 5V engine cylinder head for example to examine the planning method. The results show it helps a lot in improving the efficiency and accuracy of production line planning.

Abstract: This study used visible and near-infrared (VIS-NIR) spectroscopy for size estimation of tomato fruits of three cultivars. A mobile, fibre-type, VIS-NIR spectrophotometer (AgroSpec, Tec 5, Germany) with spectral range of 350-2200 nm, was used to measure reflectance spectra of on-vine tomatoes growing from July to September 2010. Spectra were divided into a calibration set (75%) and an independent validation set (25%). A partial least squares regression (PLSR) with leave-one-out cross validation was adopted to establish calibration models between fruit diameter and spectra. Furthermore, the latent variables (LVs) obtained from PLS regression was used as input to back-propagation artificial neural network (BPANN) analysis. Result shows that the prediction of PLSR model can produce good performance with coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.82, root-mean-square error of prediction (RMSEP) of 4.87 mm and residual prediction deviation (RPD) of 2.35. Compared to the PLSR model, the PLS-BPANN model provides considerably higher prediction performance with R2 of 0.88, RMSEP of 3.98 mm and RPD of 2.89. It is concluded that VIS-NIR spectroscopy coupled with PLS-BPANN can be adopted successfully for size estimation of tomato fruits.

Abstract: Building cost-effective models is of academic and practical value for fast measurement of soil properties, especially at a farm-scale. The aim of this study is to build quantitative models for soil total nitrogen (TN) and total carbon (TC) using visible and near infrared (VIS-NIR) spectroscopy. Dried samples (n=122) collected from an experimental farm, at Silsoe, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, were scanned from 350 to 2500 nm at 1-nm intervals. Samples were divided into a calibration set (75%) and an independent validation set (25%). A partial least squares regression (PLSR) with leave-one-out cross validation was carried out based on different spectral ranges. Result shows that the best predictions (R2>0.90 and RPD>3.3) are achieved for TN using the VIS range (400-700nm) and for TC using the VIS-NIR range (400-2500nm). It is concluded that VIS-NIR spectroscopy coupled with PLSR can be adopted for the prediction of soil TN and TC at a farm-scale.

Abstract: Red mud as environmental restoration materials has the characteristics of low cost, simple process and controlling waste by waste. The paper introduced the application of red mud on heavy metal contaminated water and soil in details. Powdered or granular red mud both has good adsorption efficiency of Cu , Zn, Pb, Ni, Ca, Cd, As and other heavy metal ions in wastewater. Langmiur or Frendlich model can express the adsorption isotherm of red mud on heavy metal ions. Red mud can not only solidify the heavy metals in soils, but also increase the soil microbial activity and population types. At the same time, de-alkali treatment can not be ignored in the process of using red mud avoiding the second pollution to environment, and achieve the zero pollution release of red mud.

Abstract: The present study is focused on the Min-Max Vehicle Routing Problem (MMVRP). Improved genetic algorithm is used to get the optimization solution. First of all, use natural number coding so as to simplify the problem; apply insertion method so as to improve the feasibility; retain the best selection so as to guard the diversity of group; adopt self-adaptive method to strengthen the partial searching ability of chromosome. Finally, the good performance of improved algorithm can be proved by experiment calculation and concrete examples.

Abstract: In this paper, Discrete Hopfield Neural Networks with Multple Delays is introduced. And a stability criterion of Discrete Hopfield Neural Networks with Multple Delays is studied bythe linear matrix inequality. It provides a theory basis for the application of Discrete Hopfield Neural Networks with Multple Delays.

Abstract: In this paper, we study the existence of analytic invariant curves for two-dimensional maps in the complex field C. Employing the method of majorant series, we discuss the eigenvalueof the mapping at a fixed point. We discuss not only thoseat resonance, i.e., at a root of the unity but also thosenear resonance under Brjuno condition.

Abstract: In this paper, a solution for engineering equilibrium mathematics modeling (EEMM) is considered. To obtain a solution of EEMM, we present a new type alternating direction solution method, and then its convergence is also shown under mild conditions. The results obtained in this paper can be taken as an extension of the existing method for EEMM.

Abstract: Since early 2007, many ambitious DSC manufactures in Japan have paid special attention for built in digital effects, in order to create better quality of picture, such as: Face Detection, Smile Shutter Mode, Full frame CCD, Anti Shake system, Live View, CMOS sensor..., which were highly appreciated by many photo fans around the world, and created hot-selling record on favorite model. In fact, these fancy “Digital Technologies” could be standardized in selected new cameras right now. In late 2009, new artificial intelligence image chips such as: back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, 30x Optical Zoom (or more), Full HD Video, Sweep Panorama, Interchangeable Unit Camera System, Super High Speed ISO, Super Steady, Motion Remover.., have been promoted in new generation of camera. It could change not only the performance of new camera (DSC/DC) but to challenge the current DV market seriously, and may inspire new record-high selling again. In our experiment, we collect more than 300 cases from the telephone survey during Sep, 2010 and Dec, 2010. Total of 220 cases comply with the conditions. To probe mainly into the relationship between new generation DC Confidence level and 3 potential customers: Amateur Photographer (AP), Senior Photographer (SP), and college student (CS). That is the reason what we are probe into this highly competitively market with brilliant creative design, and hope to offer an objective suggestion for both industry and education administers.

Abstract: Environmental monitoring is one special and basal course of environmental engineering. This course has the characteristic of theory and practice, and there are some problems in teaching practice. The paper optimizes the course in three fields, such as teaching content of theory, teaching content of experiments and teaching methods. The object of course reforms is that students can grasp and understand the course contents well, at the same time they can improve the ability of innovation and solving problems.
